Extending 76 miles and traversing 35 bridges and two tunnels, the trail parallels the Greenbrier River. Less than 1 percent grade. Designated as the West Virginia Millennium Legacy Trail. Surface is packed gravel except for approximately five miles of paved surface at Marlinton. Fish along the Trail in the Greenbrier River. Great small mouth bass fishing stream. Primitive campsights located along the trail. Shuttle services available.

Watoga State Park

Watoga State Park is located in the mountains of Pocahontas County just 14 miles south of Marlinton, West Virginia. The park consists of 10,100 acres filled with a multitude of recreational activities including hiking, swimming, horseback riding, fishing and boating. Surrounded by thousands of acres of National Forest and State lands. The Greenbrier River Trail, designated for XC skiing, biking, hiking and horseback riding is 78 miles long. Our house is at the Seebert trailhead at the 44.5 mile marker.
